Daily Paris Wear

Here are majority of the outfits I wore in the b-e-a-u-tiful city of Paris. When going on a trip far away and needing to pack light here are a few tips to take into consideration:
1.  Bring layers
2. Bring versatile clothing to mix through out the trip
3. Don't over pack.

When I was packing for this trip I wanted to bring majority of my closet, but sadly I had a 50 lb limit. Not to mention I wanted extra room for gifts and such that I wanted to bring home. So when packing I picked a few of my favorite pieces of clothes to fit the weather forecast. When I picked these out I tried pairing them with other items that could also work with another top or bottom. For example, I used my black skirt for my graphic tee and my denim shirt to create two different outfits. As well as my white blouse for a casual chic look with jeans and for my girly floral skirt. Creating outfits with the same pieces, but in different ways makes packing more fun and simple.

Pretty with a Dash of Pink

DRESS: Dress Up Boutique // SCARF: Charlotte Russe // SANDALS: The Loft Boutique // BRACELET: Lilly Pulitzer // PURSE: Michael Kors

While being an athlete who enjoys fashion, I also like to have my comfy days. This dress from Dress Up Boutique is so soft and comfortable. I love how versatile it is, you can dress it up or wear it casual.  I just adore the buttons on the back, they bring detail to this dress. When wearing a scarf with a bunch of colors, such as this one, pick a color out that you want to pull out. I picked pink, so I wore pink sandals, pink bracelet, and rocked my favorite, pink Michael Kors purse.

I took these pictures in front of one of the buildings at my college, as well as my last post in the gazebo. I absolutely love how beautiful my campus is. There are so many pretty spots to sit and do homework or just to chat with friends.

Daisylicious

TANK TOP: Francescas // BLAZER: Found it in my closet // CAPRIS: J Brand // FLATS: The Loft Boutique // EARRINGS: Target// HEADBAND: I made it // PURSE: Target
_________________________________________________________________________________

Since the sun is finally coming out, I broke out my daisy tank I bought for my birthday the beginning of this month. I love daisies, they are probably one of my favorite types of flowers. Which is another reason why I made my floral headband out of daisies. If your interested in how to make your own instead of paying for one, it's simple and a lot more wallet friendly: you need a athletic, stretchy headband, any type of flowers, hot glue gun, and felt. Hot glue the flowers onto the athletic headband one by one, while doing that hot glue a mini circle cut out of felt onto the back to secure the flower. See? Easy peasy! My blazer and shoes were amazing finds when I was visiting home, I forgot all about them until browsing through my closet. Remember Spring is a perfect time to wear tank tops with cute, light-weight cardigans and blazers. Stay Beautiful Lovelies <3

P.S. Can you tell my hair is lighter from the products I have used from my previous post?

Jumping Into Spring

TANK TOP: Tillys // CARDIGAN: Target // SHORTS: Jr. Criders // SANDALS: Traffic // Necklace: The Loft Boutique // PURSE: Kate Spade// NAILS: Target

All over my campus are beautiful trees, flowers, and landscaping. They are great for inspiration for anything, whether it's writing, painting, or fashion. In this photo shoot I am basically wearing spring, the floral top, the denim shorts, the colorful cardigan and purse are a perfect start in jumping into spring. I love high-waisted articles of clothing because with my short legs, they give them the illusion of length. Denim is a perfect fit for spring along with being comfortable. Kate Spade being my favorite designer, has brought beautiful purses this year as always. If your interested in buying a designer purse, Kate Spade is a great start especially if you like bold and stylish fashion.

Spring Essentials

Bucket bags are my new favorite style in the purse department and I cannot wait to buy my own, this bucket bag is from J.Crew. You will find that these unique bags come in many brands and colors. The inside of them are very spacious and perfect for any venture outside the house. This is a ultimate finish to any outfit.

The gingham pattern is a fresh pattern that is coming in hot this Spring of 2015. You can find this pattern on basically any clothing article you want, more specifically, dresses, tops, and scarves.
This is a gingham blouse from Zara

I am so happy big floral patterns are in this season, definitely one of my favorite patterns. This vintage floral dress is from Oasap and I wouldn't mind adding it to my wardrobe. Floral dresses are so inviting and fun. You can either wear it casual with a pair of sandals, preferably gladiator because they are in this season or dress it up with a pair of classic heels.

Suede has made its way down the runway this year and will be making an appearance this spring. These suede ankle booties are so darling, you can find a pair at DSW.

Off the shoulder and one shoulder tops are coming in with a bang this spring. They can be seen in different colors, shapes, and patterns. This chic off the shoulder blouse can be found at H&M

Fringe items are available almost anywhere in different forms: purses, vests, jackets, tops, shoes, etc. This black fringe vest is from Forever 21, it's very appealing to the eyes, and did I mention affordable ;) I wish I could buy one piece of each, but that's not  possible on this tight college budget.

Denim has always been popular and you will be sure to see it all this spring. You can buy denim in shorts, pants, jackets, and don't forget the famous denim shirt. Overalls have still been making its way through the fashion world and should make its way to your closet, these overalls are found at Hollister.
There are different ways to pull
off overalls; one way is to pair it is with a cute tank, summer scarf, and sandals.

I love the retro look of New Balance Classics! See my round up of their styles.

Be a stylish track star wearing your New Balance with almost anything. It doesn't just have to be New Balance you can achieve this look with Nike or Adidas. You can pair your sneakers with a charming sun dress or a pair of jeans. Being an athlete I love to have my occasional lazy, comfortable days so being able to dress up sneakers is a for sure win for me and all those other fashionable athletes.

Spring is my favorite season, especially the trends and clothing that come with it: the flowy skirts, the colors, the sandals, the floppy hats, just everything that comes out during the fresh spring season. Below is a spring color palette to help pick the best color for you this spring. I still have to do my spring cleaning before I can even consider getting new items. Have you done yours?
